French Twist

As the Parisian sky starts to turn grey this month, brighten your day with a happy meal at Faust. The restaurant is centrally located between Grand Palais and Invalides, tucked under the historic Alexandre III bridge. Faust’s rustic interiors, which are modelled on a 20th-century tavern, instantly take you back to old Paris. Here, you can tease your palate with succulent bistronomie, fashioned with fresh local and seasonal ingredients. The bagel cheeseburger is to die for, but if you’d rather have something light, the chef is happy to improvise a vegetarian dish to compensate for the meat-heavy menu.

Once you’ve soaked in the old, get ready for the new. Head to Tunnel, an up-and-coming electro club under the same roof, which hosts top electro DJs like Richy Ahmed, John Digweed, Francesca Lombardo and Troy Pierce, as well as Paris’ finest such as Cesko and Kristofo.
